Chaplaincy Program
Mount Kilcoy State School is very proud to offer a chaplaincy service to students, parents, staff and the wider community. Mr Lachlan Zettl is our School Chaplain. Lachie is available on Mondays and Wednesdays. School Chaplains provide spiritual and emotional support to school communities. They help students find better ways to deal with issues and provide a listening ear and a caring presence for those that need support. They also assist in classrooms when needed and happily become that extra pair of hands during special events. Lachie can also run programs and activities with religious or spiritual content if requested by parents or students, or one-on-one meetings with students to support them with any concerns they may have. If you would like your child/children to access either of these services, please complete either CP2: Student Participation in Chaplaincy Program (PDF, 235KB) or CP3: Ongoing One-On-One Meetings with Chaplain (PDF, 146KB) consent forms and return them to the school.
